The purpose of this site is to assist the people and communities of Bolivar Peninsula in recovering from the effects of Hurricane Ike.  We are dedicated to working collectively with residents, property owners, government officials, and those with ties to Bolivar Peninsula to focus on rebuilding.

The ultimate goal is to provide information and resources for rebuilding homes, businesses, lives, tourism, and the local economy.

Some of the resources that we are currently offering or will be offering soon include...

• Useful tools and helpful links for working through the rebuilding process

• A volunteer matching system that allows property owners to receive volunteer assistance with property clean-up, restoration and construction.  Property owners submit requests for assistance by outlining tasks relating to the restoration of their property and they are assigned volunteers to assist with the completion of the tasks... and it's FREE!

• Frequently updated links to media coverage about Bolivar Peninsula

• A business directory with a collection of remediation, restoration, and construction resources, as well as businesses operated on the peninsula and businesses owned and operated by peninsula residents.

• The ability to accept donations to help fund the Rebuild Bolivar initiative (coming soon)
